parece que fue ayer … y llevamos 7 años en la Tinería de Lugo …
ahora que hemos acabado la segunda rehabilitación, toca despedirse … o no
junto con Alejandro G. Virosta, hemos conseguido acabar con éxito 2 proyectos de rehabilitación de edificios en el Casco Histórico de Lugo para viviendas en alquiler
en sucesivas publicaciones desgranaremos los resultados de nuestra actuación en la Tinería
hoy comenzamos con el sencillo recurso de “antes y después” en una de ellas


it seems like yesterday … and we´ve spent 7 years in the Tineria, Lugo …
now that we´ve finished our second refurbishment, it´s time to say goodbye…or maybe not
together with Alejandro G. Virosta, we´ve successfully finished 2 projects of housing refurbisment in the Historical Centre of Lugo for public renting
in following posts we´ll show the results of our works for the Tineria
today we´ll start with a simple “before and after” of one of them

como un “monstruo” de 2 cabezas: una para dormir y otra para vivir …
entre las dos, el acceso …
hincada en el terreno, a contrapelo, buscando el sol y las vistas lejanas … la vivienda
materializada en una chapa metálica, a medio camino entre el azul y el gris … como nuestro cielo … resaltando el azul con el sol e integrando el gris en la lluvia
paneles correderos aislan o prolongan las estancias más allá de sus límites predefinidos … cocina hacia salón … dormitorio hacia estudio … vestíbulo hacia vistas … comedor hacia el sol
buen trabajo y afortunada colaboración con Toni (cyrdega) y Jota (ebanistería roal)… gracias

between both, the entrance …
thrusted into the ground, seeking for sun and distant views … the house
materialized with a metal sheet half way between grey and blue…like the Galician sky…highlighting the blue in the sun and integrating grey with the rain
sliding panels allow spaces to isolate or flow beyond their predefined limits …
kitchen towards living … bedroom towards study … reception towards views … dining towards the sun
